"Don't cry because it's over.  Smile because it happened." - Dr. Seuss
Love, joy, peace, understanding, happiness, and the like are abundant in the Universe; I need to take to time to look for them.  At times I focus so much on my problems, issues, concerns, burdens, trials, and pains that I cease to smile.  I often attend pity parties that I plan and prepare for myself.  In these moments I constantly think about everything that is wrong and convince myself that the only thing that can help me is a miracle.  I then tell myself that a miracle will not happen.  I am worse when I feel like I have lost something.  The loss of income, a relationship, or anything else I adore breaks my heart and causes me to think that I am missing out on something.  I often fear that I may never bounce back after any loss or sadness.  Miracles happen once I trade my negative thought for a positive one.  Miracles are changes in perception; I pray that I always look for and find a reason to smile.  Smiles mean that there is hope even in the most hopeless situation.  A smile means that I have faith that there is someone and something greater in the Universe that can do that which I cannot do.  I smile because I know that better is just beyond the horizon.  I smile because I know for sure that I am loved.  I smile because I realize and understand that at the core of everyday and everything that I endure- all is well.  I smile because I believe wholeheartedly that no matter what I face- everything is going to be alright, and for this I am so grateful!  Ashe and So it is!
